Florida Keys Food Tour Continues to Sponsor the Arts

For the third year in a row, the Florida Keys Food Tour is proud to sponsor the arts and support the upcoming season of The Key Players, our local community theatre group here in the Upper Keys. With two productions already in motion and a third spring show being discussed, it’s shaping up to be another fantastic season of local talent and creativity.

Supporting Local Theatre

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of using two of my sponsor tickets to catch the double feature: “War of the Worlds” and “They Came from Earth.”

The first act reimagines the classic 1938 Orson Welles radio broadcast that famously sent listeners into a Halloween panic. The second show is a comedy parody written by a local playwright—a fun twist exploring what might happen when Earthlings land on Mars. It’s the kind of clever, community-driven production that makes the Upper Keys so special.
