I just returned from one of my favorite breakfast spots in Islamorada and received the “locals discount,” and it is was definitely appreciated. Personally, I like to support my favorite Florida Keys restaurants and businesses, especially thouse that offer a local discount.
Plus, the local discount serves as a great way to excite and encourage locals to visit places in our often slower summer season. Many times I felt on holiday taking a staycation to visit some of our most famous Florida Keys attractions through the years.

Many locals have yet to take a tour, but I can attest to those that have that they are always surprised they learn a bit of local history they didn’t know while some even try food (tastes) they haven’t tried before (or in a long time). It’s true. Plus, I can also confirm they always have a good time too. A great time actually.
In addition, Florida Keys locals always love sharing a fun keys story too – it only adds to the experience of the tours itself. Let’s face it we all have our stories living on the rock. I know I have many and you’ll learn a few of mine on the tour as well.
