A Taste of Islamorada: Your Green Season Food Tour Guide

Your Green Season Food Tour Guide

The Florida Keys have two main seasons: the busy, bustling “high season” and our beautiful, tranquil “Green Season.” While some may call it hurricane season, we prefer to focus on the lush, vibrant green landscape that thrives with our refreshing afternoon showers. And remember, we run food tours rain or shine.

This time of year, from late summer through October, offers a unique opportunity to experience Islamorada like a local. It’s when we have a more limited schedule for our Florida Keys Food Tour, and many of our wonderful partner restaurants take a much-needed break for holidays and refurbishments. The traffic is light, the pace is slow, and the atmosphere is wonderfully serene.

Why This Is the Perfect Time to Tour

This “Green Season” is the ideal time to book a private food tour for a special event or celebration. Whether it’s a family reunion, a bachelorette party, or a corporate team-building event, we have the flexibility to create a truly customized, memorable experience for you. We can accommodate groups of 20+ and would love to help you plan a fun, festive Florida Keys night out.

For our beloved locals, now is your chance! This is a great time to take the tour, rediscover your hometown, and enjoy the island without the crowds. Don’t forget to use our local discount code for 15% off your booking.

Food Tours on Our Schedule

For the next two months, we are focusing on our most popular tours to give you the best of Islamorada’s culinary scene. You can choose from our three main options:

  • Luxury Golf Cart Tours: Explore Islamorada in comfort and style with our afternoon or sunset golf cart tours. This is a fantastic way to see the sights and savor some of the best local bites.
  • Savor & Stroll: Our most popular and original tour, this walking tour of downtown Islamorada allows you to meander through our local neighbrohood while tasting delicious food and drinks along the way.

We will offer tours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the Green Season. We also have a few special tours scheduled, including one on Tuesday, September 9th, and another on Monday, October 13th. Our full high-season schedule, including new tours and experiences, will resume around Thanksgiving week when our “tourist” season kicks off. Details on the tours will start to be released the week of September 15th.
